İki denizci, Joe ve Clarence, dört gün süren bir kıyı izninde, Clarence için bir kız ayarlamaya çalışırlar. Clarence'ın müzikal özlemleri olan bir kızda gözü vardır ve Joe ona engel olamadan kıza onu José Iturbi ile seçmelere götüreceğine söz verir. Ama asıl sorun Joe'nun kıza aşık olduğunu fark etmesiyle başlar.
