İlk filmdeki olaylardan hemen sonra Radu, köleleri sayesinde tekrar hayata döner ve Stefan'ı öldürür. Yükselen gün ışığı Radu'yu sığınak aramaya zorlar. Michelle uyandığında ise vampir ailesinin kan taşı olan "Bloodstone" hâlâ elindedir. Kendisine yardım etmesi için kız kardeşi Becky ile iletişim kurmayı umarak Bükreş'e kaçar. Radu annesinin yardımıyla Michelle ve "Bloodstone"u bulmak için yola koyulur. Becky Romanya'ya gelir; Teğmen Marin, Profesör Popescu ve ABD Büyükelçiliği Ajanı Mel Thompson'ın yardımıyla kız kardeşi Michelle'i bulmaya çalışır.
