Mahkumlar Alabama'daki yeni ve daha güvenli bir hapishaneye transfer edilmek üzere uçağa bindiriliyorlar, ama kemerleri çözme sinyali verilmeden 'Virüs' lakaplı Cyrus Grissom liderliğinde uçağı ele geçirerek rotayı özgürlüğe çeviriyorlar. Ancak uçağın yolcuları arasında yeni tahliye olmuş temiz pak bir adam da var.
