Buddy, Kuzey Kutbu’nda büyümüş ve bir elf olmuştur. Fakat boyu büyümeye başlayınca esasında bir insan olduğu ortaya çıkar. Ve Buddy tası tarağı toplayıp New York’a gelir. Amacı yaramazlar listesinde bulunan babasını bulup kurtarmaktır. Kendi büyüdüğü dünyaya benzemeyen New York ona bir baba, yeni bir anne ve bir kardeş kazandır. Fakat bu insanların Noel’e inançları zayıftır ve Buddy en çok buna şaşırır.
