“Memphis Belle”, İkinci Dünya Savaşı'nda kullanılan bir bombardıman uçağıdır. Genç bir mürettebat tarafından, Avrupa'ya yapılan tehlikeli bombardıman saldırılarında kullanılmaktadır. Mürettebatın, görevlerini tamamlayıp evlerine dönebilmeleri için, son bir bombardıman saldırısı daha yapmaları gerekmektedir. Mürettebat, son uçuştan önceki brifingde, o günkü hedefin, çok sayıda müttefik kaybına neden olan, ağır savunma hattı olan Dresden olduğunu fark eder.
