Efsanevi metal grubu Metallica grubu üzerine yapılan bir belgesel ve konser filmi olma özelliğini taşıyan Metallica Through the Never, daha önce de beyaz perdede ölümsüzleştirilen grubu, bu kez 3D formatında izleyici karşısına çıkarıyor. Grubun bir turne gezisi sırasında ekipte görev alma şansı yakalayan genç bir adam, konser sırasında sürdüreceği bir göreve atanır ve bu macera hayatını değiştirir. Metallica grup üyelerini ve Dane DeHaan'ı baş rollerde izlediğimiz filmin yönetmenliğini Nimród Antal üstleniyor.
