Pinocchio, gerçek bir çocuk olmak isteyen tahtadan bir kuklanın hikayesini konu ediyor. Gepetto Usta'nın ahşaptan yaptığı Pinokyo’nun en çok istediği şey gerçekleşir ve insan olur. Ancak yalana meyilli olan Pinokyo’nun her yalan söylediğinde burnu uzar. Bu durum Gepetto ile kurduğu baba oğul ilişkisini de etkiler.
