1958'de küçük bir Kansas kasabasında, bir grup genç, Tommy (J.P. Manoux) adındaki şekli bozuk bir yetim çocuğa işkence edip öldürür. 35 yıl sonra başka bir genç çetesi (Andrew Robinson, Ami Dolenz, Soleil Moon Frye) yaşlı bir cadının (Lilyan Chauvin) kulübesini soyar. Evinden alınan biraz kan ile büyü kullanarak, gençler yanlışlıkla Tommy'nin ruhunu iblis Pumpkinhead (Mark McCracken) şeklinde diriltir. Öfkelenen Pumpkinhead, kendisini çağıran gençlerin ve Tommy'yi öldüren adamların peşine düşer.
