1968 yılının Amerikası'nda değişim rüzgarları yaşanıyordur. Bellows ailesinin gölgesi, kasabanın çevresinde gezinmeye devam ediyordur. Bellows ailesinin malikanesi, kasabının uç bölgesinde bulunuyordur. Sarah ise bu ailenin sırlarla dolu genç üyesidir. Kızın yaşamı korkunç hikayelere konu olacak kadar sır doludur. Sonunda ise bir grup genç tarafından kitaba dökülmüş olan bu hikayeler keşfedilir. Bir anda bu hikayeler gerçeğe dönüşmeye başlayacaktır.
