Bu zorlu macera Superman’in Brainiac denilen ve Kripton’un başkenti Kandor’u ele geçirip küçülten acımasız bir Güç’ten haberdar olmasıyla başlıyor. Ele geçirilmiş bu şehri kurtarmaya ve doğduğu gezegeni Braniac’ın giderek artan gücünden korumaya karar veren Superman en korkunç düşmanıyla mücadeleye girişir.
