David Sanders (Nick Nolte) ve Gail Berke (Jacqueline Bisset), Bermuda'da tatil yaparken İkinci Dünya Savaşı'ndan kalma batık bir gemi kalıntısına rastlarlar. Yaptıkları dalışlar ile gemi çevresinde ampül tüpler şeklinde garip sıvılar bulurlar. Bunların morfin olduğunun orta çıkması ile peşlerine mafya takılır. "Jaws"ın da yazarı olan Peter Benchley'in aynı isimli romanından uyarlamadır.
