Ancak Kraliçe ölümünden hemen önce Kaulder'i ölümsüzlükle lanetlemiş, karısı ve çocuklarını da ebediyen ondan ayırmıştır. Türünün kalan tek örneği olan Kaulder yüzyıllarını cadı avlayarak geçirir. Kraliçe Cadı habersizce dirilip intikam için katilinin peşine düşene kadar her şey yolundadır. Kraliçe, Kaulder'in peşine düştüğünde ise insan ırkının kaderini tayin edecek olan bir savaş başlayacaktır.
