Varlıklarını Jim Henson ve Frank Oz'a borçlu olduğumuz televizyon şöhreti kuklaların, beyaz perdedeki bu ilk boy gösterişlerinde, nasıl tanıştıkları anlatılıyor; Bataklıkta tembellik ederken yetenek avcısı Bernie tarafından keşfedilen Kurbağa Kermit, şöhret basamaklarını tırmanmak üzere Hollywood'a gitmek üzere yola çıkar.
